Winter Storm Warning -- Unalaska
* WHAT...Heavy snow expected. Total snow accumulations between 8 and 18 inches. Winds gusting as high as 60 mph. Visibilities will be reduced to one half mile or less with wind and heavy snow.
* WHERE...Eastern Aleutians.
* WHEN...From 7 AM Thursday to 4 PM AKDT Friday.
* IMPACTS...Whiteout conditions with visibilities reduced to one
half mile or less due to blowing snow. Travel could be very
difficult.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...A significant winter storm will move over the Eastern Aleutians late tonight and early Thursday morning. As it
does, temperatures will fall into the lower 30s, with any rain at
the onset changing to snow by early Thursday morning. Heavy, wet
snow is expected from Thursday morning through at least early
Friday afternoon. Warmer air may move in Friday evening, allowing
for a mix of rain and snow. Storm total snow amounts may be
reduced if rain does mix in late Friday. The heaviest snowfall
rates are expected Thursday afternoon through Friday morning with
the strongest winds Thursday night through Friday.
Winter Storm Warning -- Unalaska 
The National Weather Service has upgraded the Winter Storm Watch to a Winter Storm Warning for Unalaska. The Winter Storm Warning is in effect from 7 AM Thursday to 4 PM Friday.

Instructions:
A Winter Storm Warning for snow means severe winter weather
conditions will make travel very hazardous. If you must travel, keep
an extra flashlight, food and water in your vehicle in case of an
