Suspect Arrested for Shooting Incident, 44000 blk of Beech Ave., Lancaster
On Tuesday, April 1, 2025, Lancaster deputies responded to an assault with a deadly weapon call for service on the 44000 block of Beech Avenue in the City of Lancaster. The location is a barbershop business located approximately 30 feet from Lancaster Sheriff’s Station property line.
Lancaster Sheriff's Station deputies immediately responded. Upon their arrival, they located a male victim on the ground. Deputies rendered aid to the victim and coordinated his treatment at a local hospital. The victim sustained non-life-threatening injuries.
During their investigation, deputies determined the victim was not shot; however, he was run over by a vehicle. After the victim was run over, the suspect, who was standing in the area, fired several rounds toward the vehicle.
The suspect was arrested by Lancaster Station deputies and a firearm was recovered. Operation Safe Street detectives responded and are investigating this incident.
