* At 951 PM EDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line extending from near Anderson to 11 miles northwest of New Castle to 6 miles east of Greenfield, moving east at 70 mph. THESE ARE DESTRUCTIVE STORMS FOR New Castle and Winchester. HAZARD...80 mph wind gusts and penny size hail. SOURCE...Public. IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without shelter. Mobile homes will be heavily damaged. Expect considerable damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles. Extensive tree damage and power outages are likely.

Summit Lake State Park, Greensboro, Knightstown, Modoc, Farmland, Lynn, Cadiz, Spiceland, Union City, New Castle, Ball State University, Selma, Carthage, Muncie, River Forest, Sulphur Springs, Daleville, Kennard, Shirley, and Mooreland.
