Flood Watch and Severe Weather in Effect for Garden City area thru 4/3/25 at 8AM 
National Weather Service has issued a flood watch for Garden City, now until 8AM Thursday morning.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- Afternoon showers and thunderstorms produced a band of
rainfall in the 1 to 2 inch range along the M-59 corridor up
to Port Huron. Ongoing activity this evening has similar
potential over a wider portion of the watch area, including
metro Detroit. Widespread additional totals of 1 to 2 inches
is expected before the main band exits eastward mainly after
2 AM.
-There is a Slight Risk (2/5) for strong to severe thunderstorms this
evening, mainly between 7 PM and Midnight. Heavy rainfall is the
main threat, although large hail, damaging winds, and an isolated
tornado cannot be ruled out. Multicell storms evolve into a linear
mode with fast storm motions in excess of 50 mph from southwest to
northeast.
