...Observed flooding changed from Minor to Moderate severity for the following rivers in Michigan... Clinton River Near Clinton Township affecting Macomb County.
* WHAT...Moderate flooding is occurring. At 5:30 AM EDT Thursday the stage was 17.9 feet. Flood stage is 16.0 feet. The river will fall below flood stage later this morning.
* WHERE...Clinton River near Clinton Township.
* WHEN...Until further notice.
* AFFECTED AREAS: MACOMB, MI
Instructions:
Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood deaths occur in vehicles. Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the dangers of flooding.
