SVRRLX The National Weather Service in Charleston West Virginia has issued a

* Severe Thunderstorm Warning for... Southwestern Nicholas County in southeastern West Virginia... Southeastern Kanawha County in central West Virginia... North central Raleigh County in southeastern West Virginia... Fayette County in southeastern West Virginia...

* Until 830 AM EDT.

* At 801 AM EDT, a severe thunderstorm was located over Burnwell, or 12 miles west of Fayetteville, moving east at 55 mph. HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage to roofs, siding, and trees.

* Locations impacted include... Ansted, Fayetteville, Montgomery, Burnwell, Smithers, Swiss, Babcock State Park, Powellton, Gauley Bridge, Kesslers Cross Lanes, Hawks Nest State Park, Artie, Drennan, Oak Hill, Mount Nebo, and Handley. This includes the following highways... West Virginia Turnpike between mile markers 57 and 76. Route 19 between mile markers 11 and 37.

* AFFECTED AREAS: FAYETTE, WV ... KANAWHA, WV ... NICHOLAS, WV ... RALEIGH, WV
