* At 801 AM EDT, a severe thunderstorm was located over Burnwell, or 12 miles west of Fayetteville, moving east at 55 mph. HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage to roofs, siding, and trees.
* Locations impacted include... Ansted, Fayetteville, Montgomery, Burnwell, Smithers, Swiss, Babcock State Park, Powellton, Gauley Bridge, Kesslers Cross Lanes, Hawks Nest State Park, Artie, Drennan, Oak Hill, Mount Nebo, and Handley.
