SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING IN EFFECT FOR EASTERN CARTER COUNTY UNTIL 9:00 AM 4/3/2025

The National Weather Service in Norman has issued a

* Severe Thunderstorm Warning for...
  Johnston County in southeastern Oklahoma...
  Southwestern Coal County in southeastern Oklahoma...
  East central Carter County in southern Oklahoma...
  Pontotoc County in east central Oklahoma...
  Northeastern Marshall County in southeastern Oklahoma...
  West central Atoka County in southeastern Oklahoma...
  Eastern Murray County in southern Oklahoma...

* Until 900 AM CDT.

* At 835 AM CDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line
  extending from near Dougherty to near Kingston, moving northeast 
  at 65 mph. Winds of 72 mph were measured near Burneyville and 63 
  mph were measured near Lebanon with these storms.

  HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.

  SOURCE...Radar indicated.

  IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage 
           to roofs, siding, and trees.

* Locations impacted include...
  Clarita, Dougherty, Jesse, Stonewall, Olney, Fillmore, Kingston,
  Oakland, Reagan, Sulphur, Fitzhugh, Wapanucka, Connerville,
  Scullin, Mannsville, Madill, Boggy Depot Park, Hickory, Tishomingo,
  and Pontotoc.
