INCIDENT: Possession of Narcotics for Sale, Criminal Threats and Brandishing a Firearm to Cause Serious Bodily Injury
LOCATION: 10600 block of Lincoln Avenue, Hesperia
SUSPECT: Pedro Antonio Torres, 34-year-old, resident of Hesperia
SUMMARY:
On March 25, 2025, at approximately 9:28 p.m., deputies with the Hesperia Police Department responded to the 19000 block of Centennial Street in Hesperia for reports of subject brandishing a weapon. Upon arrival, it was learned the suspect showed the victim a firearm that was in the suspect’s waist area and threatened the victim before fleeing the scene. The suspect was positively identified and an arrest warrant was issued.
On April 2, 2025, deputies conduct a traffic stop in the area of Lincoln Avenue and Mauna Loa Street in Hesperia. The driver was found to have an active arrest warrant for the incident that took place on March 25, 2025, and was taken into custody. The suspect was identified as Pedro Antonio Torres, 34-year-old, resident of Hesperia.
Deputies later served a search warrant on Torres’ residence in the 10600 block of Lincoln Avenue in Hesperia and located 22.3 ounces of fentanyl, scales, bags and a firearm along with ammunition.
Torres was booked into the High Desert Detention Center for HS11351-Possession of Narcotics for Sale, PC422- Criminal Threats and PC417.6(a)- Brandishing a Firearm to Cause Serious Bodily Injury.
