INCIDENT: Conspiracy, Grand Theft, Theft with Two or more Prior Convictions
LOCATION: 12800 block of Sweetwater Drive, Victorville
SUSPECT(S): Desiree Marie Ybarra, 36-year-old, resident of Victorville
Ernesto Jose Frias, 36-year-old resident of Victorville
SUMMARY:
On February 19, 2025, at approximately 2:37 p.m., deputies responded to Bath and Body Works located at 12799 Main Street in Hesperia for a report of shoplifters in the store taking items. Upon deputies’ arrival, the suspects fled the location.
Through investigation the suspects were identified as Desiree Marie Ybarra, 36-year-old, resident of Victorville and Ernesto Jose Frias, 36-year-old resident of Victorville, and an arrest warrant was issued.
On April 2, 2025, at approximately 1:50 p.m., deputies with the Hesperia Police Department conducted a search warrant on Ybarra and Frias' residence in the 12800 block of Sweetwater Drive in Victorville. Deputies recovered approximately $820 worth of stolen Bath and Body Works products and returned it to Bath and Body Works.
Ybarra and Frias were arrested and booked into the High Detention Center for PC182(a)(1)-Conspiracy, PC487(a)- Grand Theft and PC666.1(a)(1)- Theft with Two or more Prior Convictions.
