At 900 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near Horseshoe Lake, or near Hughes, moving northeast at 55 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and penny size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible. Locations impacted include... Hughes, Clack, Lake Cormorant, Southwest Memphis, Browns, Horn Lake, Commerce, Louise, West Memphis, Edmondson, St Clair, Presidents Island, Beck, Simsboro, Democrat, T O Fuller State Park, Glover, Brickeys, Memphis, and Tongin.
