* At 511 AM EDT, a severe thunderstorm was located over Lindenwold, or 9 miles southeast of Gloucester City, moving east at 55 mph. This storm has a history of producing large hail and wind gusts up to 60 mph. HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail. SOURCE...Trained weather spotters. IMPACT...Minor damage to vehicles is possible. Wind damage to roofs, siding, trees, and power lines is possible.
* Locations impacted include... Mystic Island, Lumberton, Atsion, Chesilhurst, Island Heights, Leisuretowne, Pine Hill, Pemberton, Wharton State Forest, Crestwood Village, Haddonfield, Magnolia, Medford, Whiting, Brookville, Batsto, Tabernacle, Clementon, Seaside Heights, and Somerdale. This includes the following highways... New Jersey Turnpike between exits 4 and 5. Interstate 295 in New Jersey between mile markers 30 and 47. Garden State Parkway between mile markers 50 and 88.
