Activity for April 3, 2025:
- Detective Klimmer identified a suspect from a previous case, and met with him at JPD for an interview. The 29-year-old male was arrested on an outstanding misdemeanor warrant.
- Officer Bean responded to the 1200 block of East Michigan Avenue for a lost firearm report. The firearm was located later in the day by the owner.
- Officer Brooker conducted a traffic stop near Webb Street and Backus Street. The 22-year-old male driver was arrested for multiple conditional bond violations.
- Officers visited several schools during the day.
- Officer Hogan assisted City Inspection with an administrative search warrant in the 1200 block of West Franklin Street.
- Officer Brooker and Officer Tenney made contact with a wanted subject in the 600 block of Backus Street. A 34-year-old female was arrested for 4th degree child abuse.
- Detective Brooks and Detective Tinklepaugh responded to the 1400 block of Homewild Avenue for a warrant pick-up. A 39-year-old female was arrested on an outstanding misdemeanor warrant.
- Officer Vernier was dispatched to a domestic dispute in the 200 block of Janke Street. A 34-year-old female was arrested for domestic assault, and conditional bond violation.
- Officer Vernier responded to the 1800 block of North Wisner Street for a stolen vehicle report. The vehicle was located unoccupied in the 500 block of Royal Drive. The vehicle was impounded at the owner’s request.
- Officer Bean was dispatched to the 200 block of Marshall Street for a personal welfare check. A 30-year-old female and a 43-year-old female were both arrested on outstanding misdemeanor warrants.
