* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.

* WHERE...Portions of south central Indiana, including the following counties, Clark, Crawford, Dubois, Floyd, Harrison, Perry and Washington and Kentucky, including the following counties, Barren, Breckinridge, Bullitt, Butler, Edmonson, Grayson, Green, Hancock, Hardin, Hart, Jefferson, Larue, Marion, Meade, Nelson, Ohio, Oldham, Shelby, Spencer, Taylor and Warren.

* WHEN...Until 800 PM EDT /700 PM CDT/ Friday.

* IMPACTS...Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring. Numerous roads remain closed due to flooding. Streams continue to rise due to excess runoff from earlier rainfall.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 823 AM EDT /723 AM CDT/, local law enforcement reported heavy rain in the warned area due to thunderstorms. Flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly. Between 5 and 7 inches of rain have fallen. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Louisville, Elizabethtown, Jeffersonville, New Albany, Jeffersontown, St. Matthews, Shively, Lyndon, Tell City and Middletown. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
