Louisiana woman arrested for DUI.

On April 3, 2025, at 11:22 p.m. Gibson County Central Dispatch received a 911 call from the Loves Travel Center located at 12519 Access 1250 South near Haubstadt in reference to a customer who was causing a disturbance at the establishment and refused to leave. Multiple officers were dispatched to the business, and upon arriving witnesses on scene stated that the suspect had left the property and went to the Flying J. At that point Sgt. John Fischer spoke with multiple witnesses on scene and they provided a detailed description of the female as well as a photo of the semi that the female drove from Loves to the neighboring business.

At that point Sgt. Fischer gave other officers a description of the female and the vehicle she was driving. Once he was done with collecting statements Sgt. Fischer met up with the other officers and the suspect at Flying J. Sgt. Fischer identified the female as 40 year old Deasyre Parkman of Alexandria, Louisiana. While speaking with Ms. Parkman Sgt. Fischer detected the odor of alcohol coming from
female. At that point he began a roadside DUI investigation. At the conclusion of his investigation Ms. Parkman was taken into custody and charged with Operating a Vehicle While Intoxicated, Resisting Law Enforcement w/ Injury, and Disorderly Conduct.

Assisting Sgt. Fischer in his investigation was Deputies Michael Bates, Wes Baumgart, and Shawn Holmes.

All criminal defendants are to be presumed innocent until, and unless proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt in a court of law.
