Flood Warning until 09:17PM Tuesday

...The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in Arkansas... White River At Calico Rock affecting Stone and Izard Counties. White River At Batesville affecting Independence County. For the Upper White River...including Calico Rock, Batesville... Major flooding is forecast.

* WHAT...Major flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...White River at Calico Rock.

* WHEN...From Saturday morning to late Tuesday evening.

* IMPACTS...At 36.0 feet, Many of the homes along the river bank in Baxter, Stone, and Izard counties will be impacted by either inundation or isolation. This includes homes in areas near Norfork, Calico Rock , Allison, Boswell, Mount Olive, and Guion. Numerous roads closed.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 10:15 AM CDT Friday the stage was 7.1 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage Saturday morning to a crest of 37.0 feet Sunday morning. It will then fall below flood stage Monday afternoon. - Flood stage is 19.0 feet. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
