The Bear Valley CSD is recruiting volunteers for a Police Tax Study Ad Hoc Committee. The Ad Hoc Committee will consist of two board members and five volunteer community members.

COMMITTEE DUTIES:

• Conduct a Financial Analysis on the Current Per-Parcel Tax to Fund Law Enforcement
• Determine the increases needed to meet funding requirements (as defined by the CSD board of directors)
• Evaluate the framework and requirements to put a tax measure on a future ballot
• Recommend an oversight and accountability framework
• Have all assigned tasks completed by the first CSD Board Meeting in December, 2025

All findings and recommendations made by the Committee will be presented to the full Board of Directors, which will then decide what actions will be taken.
