Bourbeuse River at Union. River forecasts are based on observed precipitation and forecast precipitation for the next 72 hours.

* WHAT...Major flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...Meramec River at Valley Park.

* WHEN...From Saturday afternoon until further notice.

* IMPACTS...At 30.0 feet, Allen Road at Old Highway 141 is closed.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 10:30 AM CDT Friday the stage was 2.4 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage tomorrow afternoon and crest near 31.0 feet Tuesday evening. - Flood stage is 18.0 feet. - Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of 30.7 feet on 10/30/1919.
