Flood Advisory until 6:30 PM 
...FLOOD ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 630 PM CDT THIS EVENING...
* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.
* WHERE...A portion of east central Missouri, including the following counties and independent city, east central Franklin, central Saint Charles, Saint Louis and Saint Louis City.
* WHEN...Until 630 PM CDT.
* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. Rises in small streams and normally dry arroyos.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 336 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area.
- Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches are expected over the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding.
- Some locations that will experience flooding include... St. Louis, St. Charles, St. Peters, Florissant, Chesterfield, Wildwood, University City, Ballwin, Alton, Kirkwood, Maryland Heights, Hazelwood, Webster Groves, Ferguson, Manchester, Godfrey, Creve Coeur, Overland, Clayton and Cahokia.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood deaths occur in vehicles.
