* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.

* WHERE...Portions of east central and southeast Missouri, including the following counties, in east central Missouri, Washington. In southeast Missouri, Saint Francois.

* WHEN...Until 845 PM CDT.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 549 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Between 1 and 2 inches of rain have fallen. - Additional rainfall amounts of 2 to 4 inches are expected over the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Bonne Terre, Desloge, Potosi, Bismarck, Leadwood, Park Hills, Iron Mountain Lake, Irondale, Mineral Point, Old Mines, Iron Mountain, Courtois, Leadington, Caledonia, Frankclay, Cadet, Belgrade, Blackwell, Shirley and Latty.

* AFFECTED AREAS: ST. FRANCOIS, MO ... WASHINGTON, MO
