FFWILN The National Weather Service in Wilmington has issued a

* Flash Flood Warning for... Fayette County in east central Indiana... Union County in east central Indiana... Wayne County in east central Indiana... Franklin County in southeastern Indiana...

* Until 545 AM EDT.

* At 1149 PM EDT, radar indicated thunderstorms producing heavy rain across the warned area. Between 0.5 and 1 inch of rain has fallen this evening. Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches are possible through daybreak on top of already saturated soils. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly. HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms. SOURCE...Radar. IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses as well as other poor drainage and low-lying areas.

* Some locations that may experience flash flooding include... Richmond, Connersville, Batesville, Brookville, Centerville, Cambridge City, Liberty, Hagerstown, Fountain City, Dublin, West College Corner, Oldenburg, Glenwood, Lake Santee, Franklin, Salem, Waterloo, Blooming Grove, Columbia and Metamora.
