Flood Warning until 04:15AM Saturday

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.

* WHERE...Portions of east central and southeast Missouri, including the following counties, in east central Missouri, Washington. In southeast Missouri, Saint Francois.

* WHEN...Until 415 AM CDT.

* IMPACTS...Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring. Numerous roads remain closed due to flooding. Streams continue to rise due to excess runoff from earlier rainfall. Low-water crossings are inundated with water and may not be passable. Expect many areas of slow moving or standing water.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 1118 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the warned area. Between 1 and 2 inches of rain have fallen. - Additional rainfall amounts up to 1 inch are possible in the warned area. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Bonne Terre, Desloge, Potosi, Bismarck, Leadwood, Park Hills, Iron Mountain Lake, Irondale, Mineral Point, Old Mines, Iron Mountain, Courtois, Leadington, Caledonia, Frankclay, Cadet, Belgrade, Blackwell, Shirley and Latty. - This includes the following State Parks... Washington State Park, St. Joe State Park, St. Francois State Park and Missouri Mines Historic Site.

* AFFECTED AREAS: ST. FRANCOIS, MO ... WASHINGTON, MO
