* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.
* WHERE...A portion of northeast Ohio, including the following counties, Stark and Summit.
* WHEN...Until 1245 PM EDT.
* IMPACTS...Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 648 AM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the warned area. Between 1.5 and 2 inches of rain have fallen. A river gage on Zimber Ditch/West Branch of Nimishillen Creek has reported minor flooding. - Additional rainfall amounts of 0.5 to 1 inch are possible in the warned area. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Akron, Canton, Cuyahoga Falls, Massillon, Kent, Barberton, Green, Hudson, Tallmadge, North Canton, Streetsboro, Louisville, Mogadore, Hartville, Brewster, Navarre, Stow, New Franklin, Norton and Fairlawn. - Please visit www.weather.gov/safety/flood for flood safety and preparedness information.

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood deaths occur in vehicles. Stay away or be swept away. River banks and culverts can become unstable and unsafe.
