FFWPAH The National Weather Service in Paducah has extended the

* Flash Flood Warning for... Alexander County in southern Illinois... Scott County in southeastern Missouri... Stoddard County in southeastern Missouri...

* Until 115 PM CDT Saturday.

* At 634 AM CDT, emergency management reported thunderstorms producing heavy rain. Flash flooding continues from Advance to Olive Branch. Between 8 and 10 inches of rain have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches are possible in the warned area. Flash flooding is already occurring. HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms. SOURCE...Emergency management reported. IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses as well as other poor drainage and low-lying areas.

* Some locations that will experience flash flooding include... Sikeston, Dexter, Scott City, Chaffee, Cairo, Bernie, Bloomfield, Advance, Oran, Miner, Benton, Morehouse, Puxico, Morley, Tamms, Kelso, Essex, Bell City, Dudley and Hay-Wood City.
