Flood Warning until 03:00PM

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.

* WHERE...Portions of south central Indiana, including the following counties, Crawford, Dubois and Perry and central Kentucky, including the following counties, Breckinridge, Grayson, Hancock, Hardin, Meade and Ohio.

* WHEN...Until 300 PM EDT /200 PM CDT/ Saturday.

* IMPACTS...Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring. Numerous roads remain closed due to flooding. Streams continue to rise due to excess runoff from earlier rainfall.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 817 AM EDT /717 AM CDT/, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the warned area. Between 0.5 and 1.5 inches of rain have fallen since midnight. Between 5 to 9 inches of rain have fallen in the last three days. - Additional rainfall amounts of 1.5 to 3 inches are possible in the warned area. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Elizabethtown, Jasper, Tell City, Leitchfield, Hartford, Brandenburg, Hardinsburg, Hawesville, English and Carefree Town. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
