Flood Advisory until 11:00AM Sunday

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues.

* WHERE...The following counties, in Indiana, Fayette, Franklin, Union and Wayne and the following counties, in Ohio, Butler, Clark, Franklin, Greene, Madison, Miami, Montgomery and Preble.

* WHEN...Until 1100 AM EDT Sunday.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. Water over roadways. Some low-water crossings may become impassable.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 1223 AM EDT, local law enforcement reported flooding continuing at various locations in the advisory area. Between 3 and 5 inches of rain has fallen since Wednesday evening. Additional rainfall amounts up to 0.5 inches are possible. Although the heaviest rain has ended, runoff from previous heavy rain will result in flooding in low-lying areas. High water is expected on area waterways and streams. - Some locations that may experience flooding include... Dayton, Springfield, Kettering, Beavercreek, Huber Heights, Richmond, Fairborn, Xenia, Troy, Trotwood, Oxford, Piqua, Miamisburg, Springboro, Vandalia, Connersville, Englewood, Franklin, London and Tipp City.

Instructions:

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood deaths occur in vehicles. Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the dangers of flooding. Be aware of your surroundings and do not drive on flooded roads.
