On Sunday, April 6, 2025, at approximately 3:11 AM, Pomona Police Officers responded to the area of Philadelphia St & Palomares St regarding a vehicle vs. pedestrian traffic collision. Responding officers arrived on scene and located the pedestrian laying in the roadway suffering from severe injuries. First responders performed life saving measures; however, the pedestrian ultimately succumbed to their injuries. The driver of the vehicle fled the scene after the collision.
