Flood Warning until 02:00PM Monday

...The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in Kentucky...Indiana... Ohio River at Clifty Creek affecting Trimble and Jefferson Counties. Ohio River at McAlpine Lower affecting Clark, Hardin, Jefferson, Floyd, Harrison and Meade Counties. Ohio River at McAlpine Upper affecting Clark, Oldham, Jefferson and Floyd Counties. Ohio River at Cannelton Lock and Dam affecting Breckinridge, Perry, Crawford and Hancock Counties. Ohio River at Tell City affecting Perry and Hancock Counties. .Heavy rain from the past several days will cause the river to rise.

* WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and moderate flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...Ohio River at Cannelton Lock and Dam.

* WHEN...Until further notice.

* IMPACTS...At 39.0 feet, Highway 66 floods near Derby - Dexter area. At 42.0 feet, Agricultural flooding begins near Cloverport and Cannelton. Highway 66 floods near Derby and Dexter. Rocky Point Girl Scout camp is affected. At 51.0 feet, Locks are closed. Large sections large of highway 66 flood. Highway 60 floods between Cloverport and Hawesville.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 12:00 PM EDT Sunday /11:00 AM CDT Sunday/ the stage was 45.8 feet. - Bankfull stage is 39.0 feet. - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours ending at 12:00 PM EDT Sunday /11:00 AM CDT Sunday/ was 45.8 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to 49.7 feet early Thursday afternoon. Additional rises are possible thereafter. - Flood stage is 42.0 feet. - Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of 49.3 feet on 04/28/2011. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
