* WHERE...Portions of north central and northeast Alabama, including the following counties, in north central Alabama, Cullman. In northeast Alabama, DeKalb, Jackson and Marshall.
* WHEN...Until 700 PM CDT.
* IMPACTS...Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 420 PM CDT, emergency management reported flooding in portions of Jackson and Marshall Counties due to heavy rain in the warned area. Flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly. Between 3 and 4 inches of rain have fallen and will slowly come to an end late this afternoon. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Albertville, Scottsboro, Fort Payne, Boaz, Guntersville, Arab, Rainsville, Bridgeport, Hanceville, Henagar, Stevenson, Crossville, Sylvania, Fyffe, Hollywood, Powell, Geraldine, Grant, Holly Pond and Section. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood deaths occur in vehicles. In hilly terrain there are hundreds of low water crossings which are potentially dangerous in heavy rain. Do not attempt to cross flooded roads. Find an alternate route.
