...The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in Tennessee... North Fork Obion River near Martin Obion River near Obion For the Obion River...including Martin, Obion, Bogota...Moderate flooding is forecast.
* WHAT...Moderate flooding is occurring and moderate flooding is forecast. This approaches the flood of record.
* WHERE...North Fork Obion River near Martin.
* WHEN...Until late tomorrow evening.
* IMPACTS...At 22.0 feet, Widespread flooding is occurring in Rives and near Union City. Additional evacuations will be necessary. Agricultural land north of Martin is flooding and equipment and livestock may need to be moved to higher ground. Numerous secondary roads are covered by flood water.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 8:00 PM CDT Sunday the stage was 22.2 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to fall below flood stage tomorrow afternoon and continue falling to 17.2 feet Friday evening. - Flood stage is 20.0 feet. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
