April 4, 2025:
- Officer Frazier located a vehicle reported stolen out of Ohio on Warwick Court. The vehicle was impounded, and the responsible agency in Ohio was notified.
- Officer Goings responded to the 900 block of North Elm Avenue for a fraud report.
- Officers visited multiple schools during the day.
- Officer Justice was dispatched to the 400 block of Wildwood Avenue for a personal welfare check. A 40-year-old male was arrested on an outstanding misdemeanor warrant.
- Officer Mills responded to the 400 block of South Blackstone Street for a personal welfare check. A 44-year-old male was arrested for conditional bond violation.
- Officer Justice conducted a traffic stop near North Blackstone Street and Lansing Avenue, but the driver did not stop the vehicle until reaching East Cortland Avenue and South Mechanic Street. The 25-year-old male driver was arrested for fleeing and eluding, and driving while intoxicated.
- Officer Soloman was dispatched to the 300 block of Fourth Street for a traffic crash. A 35-year-old female was transported to the hospital. Charges will be sought on the female for driving while intoxicated.
- Officer Goings responded to the Jackson Crossing Mall for a counterfeit bill report. The investigation is ongoing.
- Officers were dispatched to the 1500 block of Daniel Road for disorderly subjects.
- Officer Soloman made contact with a wanted subject in the 1800 block of Tyson Street. A 24-year-old male was arrested on an outstanding felony warrant.
- Officers responded to the 1400 block of East Michigan Avenue for disorderly subjects. An unregistered firearm and a stolen firearm were located in the residence. A 19-year-old male was arrested for carrying a concealed weapon; possession of narcotics with the intent to distribute; and an outstanding felony warrant. Charges will be sought on a 20-year-old male for receiving and concealing a stolen firearm, and possessing narcotics.
- Officers were dispatched to a domestic dispute in the 1500 block of East North Street. A 46-year-old female was arrested for domestic assault.
- Officer Marcum and Officer Smith investigated a fraud that occurred in the 300 block of Hill Street. A suspect has been identified.
- Officer Frazier responded to the 300 block of Barberry Drive for a domestic dispute. JCYC refused to lodge the 12-year-old female suspect for domestic assault.
- Officer Jones was dispatched to the 1200 block of Greenwood Avenue for a personal protection order violation. The 28-year-old male suspect fled prior to officers’ arrival, and has not been located. Charges will be sought on the male for home invasion; domestic assault; and violation of a personal protection order.
- Officers responded to a domestic dispute in the 700 block of East South Street. A 36-year-old male was arrested on multiple outstanding felony warrants. Domestic assault charges will be sought on the male. A 31-year-old female was arrested for conditional bond violation.
- Officers were dispatched to the 400 block of East North Street for disorderly subjects. Felonious assault charges will be sought on a 16-year-old male and a 17-year-old male.
- Officers responded to the 1700 block of Fourth Street for a disorderly subject. A 22-year-old male was arrested for felonious assault.
- Officers were dispatched to a domestic dispute in the 1300 block of Lansing Avenue. A 61-year-old female was arrested for domestic assault.
- Officers responded to the 600 block of South Gorham Street for a domestic situation. A 29-year-old male was arrested for violating a personal protection order.
- Officers were dispatched to the 300 block of North Gorham Street for a shooting. The victim was transported to the hospital, and the suspect has been detained by officers. The investigation is ongoing.
