Wilmington Police have arrested a Camden man on a gun charge.
On April 2, at approximately 11:42 p.m., members of the Uniformed Services Division were in the area of East 26th and Thatcher Streets, when they observed a vehicle commit a traffic violation. Police conducted a vehicle stop at that location, and made contact with a passenger – 22-year-old Nha’sir Lewis of Camden, DE. Following a brief investigation, Lewis was found to be in possession of a loaded 9mm handgun, and was taken into custody without incident.
Lewis has been charged with the following offense:
- Carrying a Concealed Deadly Weapon
He was arraigned in Justice of the Peace Court 11 and was released on $5,000 unsecured bail.
