Albany Police are currently investigating an assault and is seeking the public's assistance.
We ask residents to remain alert and report any suspicious activities or individuals.
On Monday, April 7, 2025 around 7:20 p.m. a female victim was followed by a male after both individuals exited the 905 CDTA bus in the area of Central Avenue and Quail Street. The suspect followed the victim and subsequently assaulted her in a rear yard on Washington Avenue.
The victim sustained facial injuries during this incident.

Black male with a face mask on, wearing a green sweatshirt, blue jeans, white sneakers and a tan backpack.
