SUMMARY: On Monday, April 7, 2025, at approximately 7:43 p.m., deputies from the Victorville Police Department, along with Victorville Fire Department and American Medical Response personnel responded to the area of Amargosa Road and Gabriel Road in Victorville for a vehicle verses pedestrian traffic collision.
Through investigation, it was determined a grey Honda Sedan struck a pedestrian in the roadway. The male victim sustained fatal injuries and was pronounced deceased at the scene. His identity is being held pending notification to next of kin.
The driver of the Honda remained on scene during the investigation. North and south bound lanes of Amargosa Road, between Gabriel Road and Eucalyptus Street, were closed for approximately four hours as the Victorville Major Accident Investigation Team investigated.
