Phone Calls to Victim Lead to Additional Felony Charge for Arrowood
Detective Richard Pittman with the McDowell County Sheriff’s Office charged Justin Trent Arrowood, 35, of Marion with (2 counts) felony Intimidating a Witness. He was issued a secured bond of $25,000.
Arrowood is currently incarcerated at the McDowell County Detention Center for a March 13 domestic violence incident involving a female acquaintance that led to felony charges against him. Those charges included felony Assault Inflicting Serious Bodily Injury on an Unborn Child, felony Restraint, and misdemeanor Assault on a Female, along with numerous drug-related offenses.
On March 26, Det. Pittman was informed that Arrowood had been making numerous phone calls from the McDowell County Detention Center to the victim.
He is currently under a judge-issued No Contact Order.
