Newark Public Safety Director Emanuel Miranda, Sr. requests the public’s help in locating Mekhia Davis Manning, 25, wanted for questioning in connection with a robbery that occurred on Monday, April 7, 2025.
A man walking at North 5th Street near Dickerson Street was approached by three suspects who robbed him of his cell phone at gunpoint. The suspects forced the victim to unlock his phone and sent money from his account to another. The suspects then fled southbound on North 5th Street.
Detectives investigating this incident seek Davis Manning for questioning. She is described as 5’4” tall, and weighs between 115 pounds to 140 pounds.
