Suspect Arrested for $180,000 Embezzlement
On March 28th, 2025, management from Tomrose Construction called the Petaluma Police Department to report a fraud. Management from the company alleged an employee had embezzled a significant amount of money over the course of approximately two years.
An investigation ensued and documentation was furnished by Tomrose Construction alleging Gina Banducci (40-year-old resident of Rohnert Park) had embezzled $180,000 from the company. The information and documentation provided showed Banducci had used company funds to pay for personal items and services that were not authorized by Tomrose Construction. The unauthorized transactions dated back to 2023.
On April 4th, Banducci was contacted and arrested at her residence in the 5100 block of Dowdell Avenue in Rohnert Park. She was arrested for a felony charge of embezzlement (503 PC) and booked at the Sonoma County Jail.
