The DC Department of Parks and Recreation (DPR) and the DC Department of General Services (DGS) would like to inform the community of the upcoming closures due to repairs at Sherwood Recreation Center (640 10th Street, NE).
The playground at Sherwood Recreation Center will be closed for repairs from April 14 to 20, 2025, with an estimated reopening date of Monday, April 21, 2025.
The basketball and tennis courts at Sherwood Recreation Center will be closed for repairs from April 14 to 25, 2025. They are estimated to reopen on Saturday, April 26, 2025.
Operations of Sherwood Recreation Center will not be impacted.
