The County of Marin has Moved Away from Nixle. The Central Marin Police Authority Will Continue Using Nixle for Some Public Messaging 
The Marin County Fire Department and Marin County Sheriff's Office will no longer be using Nixle. To ensure you receive all Marin County notifications, please sign up for emergency alerts at Emergency.MarinCounty.gov. By signing up with AlertMarin you will receive evacuation warnings, significant weather-related alerts, and other notifications directly to your phone or email.
The Central Marin Police Authority will continue using Nixle for some public messaging as it relates to our jurisdiction and residents of Corte Madera, Larkspur (Greenbrae), and San Anselmo. We will also utilize AltertMarin through the County of Marin Office of Emergency Management for significant incidents or events.
