Wilmington Police arrest four men on gun charges:
Wilmington Police have arrested four men on gun charges following an investigation.
Over the past several months, members of the Gun Intelligence Unit have been conducting an investigation into illegal firearm possession, and motor vehicle thefts in the 1800 block of North Washington Street. On April 9, at approximately 12:25 p.m., police executed a search warrant in that block and took 21-year-old Tamir Knotts, 19-year-old Lashaun Bradley, and 19-year-old Ayden Drummond into custody without incident. Subsequently, 19-year-old Naim Benson was also taken into custody without incident. Police recovered a loaded 5.56 caliber rifle, three loaded 9mm handguns, 129.42 grams of heroin, 10.7 grams of crack cocaine, and 10.5 grams of marijuana.

- Receiving a Stolen Firearm
Lashaun Bradley has been charged with the following offenses:
- Possession of a Firearm or Ammunition by a Person Prohibited – Two Counts
- Receiving a Stolen Firearm
- Tampering with Physical Evidence
Ayden Drummond has been charged with the following offenses:
- Possession of a Firearm or Ammunition by a Person Prohibited – Two Counts
- Receiving a Stolen Firearm
- Tampering with Physical Evidence
- Resisting Arrest
Naim Benson has been charged with the following offense:
- Possession of a Firearm by a Person Prohibited
