The Kern County Sheriff's Office is asking for the public's assistance in a homicide inves-tigation. On the evening of November 29, 2023, while walking in the 1200 block of Iris Street in Wasco, California, Michael Prendez Gonzalez was shot and later succumbed to his injuries.
