INCIDENT: VC 2800.2(a) – Felony Evading
LOCATION: Chippewa Road & Corwin Road, Apple Valley
SUSPECT(S): Terence Fonsworth Billingsley, 29-years-old, Resident of Apple Valley
SUMMARY:
On Thursday, April 10, 2025, deputies with Apple Valley Police Department were dispatched to a subject threatening to harm an ex-fiancé and himself.
Due to the context of the threats and prior contacts with the subject, identified as Terence Fonsworth Billingsley, multiple deputies responded to the area of the incident. When Deputy K. Mammolito attempted contact with Billingsley, he drove his vehicle toward multiple patrol units and fled the area. Deputies followed Billingsley, who led them on an approximate 11-mile pursuit. Deputies deployed a spike strip and brought the pursuit to an end near State Highway 18 and Corwin Road. At the termination of the pursuit, Billingsley was taken into custody without further incident.
Terence Fonsworth Billingsley was booked into High Desert Detention Center for felony evading and remains in custody in lieu of $50,000 bail.
