The City of Kingsville Street Dept began road reconstruction on S 18^th St between E Lott Ave and E Johnston Ave this morning at 7:30 am. S 18^th St will be closed to thru traffic for approximately 3 weeks, barring inclement weather or equipment breakdown, while this road reconstruction will be taking place. The intersections of S 18^th St and E Fordyce Ave, S 18^th St, and E Huisache Ave, and S 18^th St and E Johnston Ave will be closed during this time. Barricades and signs will be in place.

We do apologize for any inconvenience this may cause, but please know that our crews will be working diligently to reopen the area(s)/road(s) as soon as possible. We request that all residents and businesses in this area be aware that delays will be possible as far as entrances and exits from properties are concerned.

The Kingsville Police Department and the Kingsville Fire Department have been notified of this project. We appreciate your cooperation in assisting us with improving your roadway.
