Please be aware, this morning at 10:00, the Illinois Department of Natural Resources, with the assistance of the City of McHenry Parks and Recreation Department, will be conducting a controlled burn at the Wheeler Fen, located near Green Street and Charles Miller Road.
This work is being performed as part of a management and restoration effort between the City of IDNR for the Fen.
