INCIDENT: Theft by False Pretense
LOCATION: 55200 Block of Twentynine Palms Highway, Yucca Valey
SUSPECT(S): Dylan James Radcliff, 23-year-old resident of Joshua Tree
VICTIM(S): Confidential
SUMMARY: On Sunday, April 13, 2025, at approximately 9:54 p.m., Deputy L. Gonzalez was dispatched to a report of a theft by false pretense in the town of Yucca Valley. The victim reported he purchased what he believed were authentic gold bars through OfferUp, in exchange for cash. The victim took the property for appraisal after the purchase and discovered the bars were fake.
During the investigation, the subject was identfied as Dylan James Radcliff, a resident of Joshua Tree. Radcliff was contacted at his residence. A search warrant was authored for Radcliff''s property and $7,985 in US currency was recovered.
Radcliff was arrested and booked at the Morongo Basin jail.
