Earthquake - 5.2 Magnitude - San Diego Area 
A 5.2 magnitude earthquake centered out of Julian (South of San Diego) occurred at approximately 10:08 a.m. on Monday, April 14, 2025. This earthquake created shaking that could be felt in Paramount, but there have been no reports of any damage or injuries in our area. Please be aware that there have been several smaller aftershocks and there is always the possibility for more. We encourage you to take this time to make sure that you are prepared by creating an emergency kit and a family communication plan.
