* Severe Thunderstorm Warning for... West central Nicholas County in southeastern West Virginia... Central Kanawha County in central West Virginia... Northeastern Lincoln County in central West Virginia... Southwestern Clay County in north central West Virginia... Northwestern Fayette County in southeastern West Virginia... North central Boone County in central West Virginia...

* Until 945 PM EDT.

* At 907 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm was located over Alum Creek, or 10 miles south of Nitro, moving east at 60 mph. HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage to roofs, siding, and trees.

* Locations impacted include... Charleston, Pinch, Cedar Grove, Glasgow, Ashford, Glen, South Charleston, Tornado, Alkol, Coal Fork, Pond Gap, Pratt, Montgomery, Sod, Woodville, Smithers, Alum Creek, Marmet, Bentree, and Chesapeake. This includes the following highways... Interstate 79 near mile marker 1. Interstate 77 in West Virginia between mile markers 96 and 104.
