Two Upland Residents Identified and Arrested after Burglarizing a Home in Rancho Cucamonga


DATE/TIME: April 12, 2025 / 7:25 A.M.

INCIDENT: PC 459-1st Degree Residential Burglary

LOCATION: 5000 Block of Fawn Court, Rancho Cucamonga

SUSPECT 1: Breeana Marie Fitzmaurice, Age 28, Resident of Upland
SUSPECT 2: Richard Alcala, Age 38, Resident of Upland

VICTIM(S): Confidential


SUMMARY: On Saturday, April 12, 2025, at approximately 7:25 A.M., deputies from the Rancho Cucamonga Sheriff’s Station responded to a residential burglary in the 5000 block of Fawn Court. The reporting party called 911 and advised a black Jeep SUV was parked in the driveway of the incident location and two unknown subjects were breaking into the home.  

The suspects stole property from the residence and fled the location in the Jeep before the deputies arrived. Deputies conducted a thorough investigation and identified the suspects as Breeana Marie Fitzmaurice, and Richard Alcala, both residents of Upland. Deputies learned Alcala had an active felony warrant for H&S 11379(A)- Transportation of a Controlled Substance and H&S 11378- Possession of a Controlled Substance for Sale. 

On Sunday, April 13, 2025, at approximately 4:30 A.M., deputies located the Jeep in a neighborhood in the northern part of Rancho Cucamonga. Deputies conducted a traffic stop on the vehicle and identified Alcala and Fitzmaurice as the occupants. 

Richard Alcala was arrested and booked into the West Valley Detention Center for his active felony warrant and PC 459-1st Degree Burglary. Breeana Marie Fitzmaurice was arrested and booked into the West Valley Detention Center for PC 459-1st Degree Burglary.
