Wilmington Police arrest man in connection with multiple burglary incidents:
Wilmington Police have arrested a man in connection with multiple burglary incidents.
On March 30, at approximately 12:09 a.m., police responded to the 500 block of North King Street, in reference to a burglary. On March 31, at approximately 2:00 a.m., police responded to the 700 block of North Market Street, in reference to a burglary. These cases were assigned to Detective Joran Merced of the Criminal Investigations Division.
Through the course of his investigation Detective Merced identified 53-year-old Charles Taylor as a suspect, and obtained warrants for his arrest. On April 4, police located Taylor in the 700 block of North West Street, and took him into custody without incident.
Taylor has been charged with the following offenses:
- Burglary (Second Degree)
- Burglary (Third Degree)
- Theft Under $1,500 – Three Counts
