Please be advised, that the Jekyll Island Public Safety Complex located at 80 Shell Road is opening Wednesday, April 16 at 9 a.m.
Fire/EMS/Georgia State Patrol (GSP) teams will now be located in this new facility. The GSP will have a receptionist available for general inquiries from 9 AM - 5 PM Monday - Friday.
All phone numbers will remain the same and have been rolled over.
The former Fire/EMS facilities on Stable Road and the former GSP facilities adjacent to the Guest Information Center on the Jekyll Island Causeway will no longer be in operation as of April 16.
Those seeking building permits, sign permits, and inquiries relating to code enforcement should visit the offices now open at the Jekyll Island Public Safety Complex.
