There is a controlled burn of approximately 1,800 acres in Lake County. This would be in the area of Newaygo County’s E 18 Mile Rd & N Catalpa Ave. Central Dispatch is receiving several reports of heavy smoke in the area, especially in the Hungerford Lake area. This is from the controlled burn and doesn't need to be reported. Thank you!
